Discussion Question 1 (Group 2)



An archaeologist uncovered a fragment of a circular plate (as shown below) used by an ancient civilisation.
He was curious and wanted to know the size (i.e. radius) of the plate that he found. He approached his Mathematician friend for help. In no time, his Mathematician friend quickly worked out the size (i.e. radius) of the plate for him. The archaeologist was amazed.
